Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Production Quality Specialist to stand up and qualify manufacturing processes for a new advanced hardware program in a greenfield environment. You will develop and maintain the QMS, manage CAPA, audits, and documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and compliance across operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in quality systems within an AS9100/ISO9001 manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with document control, records management, and training records.
• Experience performing internal audits to AS9100/ISO9001.
• Working knowledge of CAPA and nonconformance processes.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage many priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to work with people at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management System.
• Administer the document control system, procedures, forms, and revision control.
• Manage quality records and retention for inspection, test, traceability, and nonconformance records.
• Administer the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) including workflows and access.
• Maintain training matrices and qualification records and ensure up-to-date revisions.
