Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to support QMS core processes at our Durham, NC or Marcy, NY sites. You will manage QMS software, drive internal audits to IATF/AS9100/ISO9001, and collaborate with IT and quality teams to improve customer requirements management, documentation, and specifications.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of QMS standards: IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001.
• Experience with QMS software tool administration and certified auditor.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with factory and quality engineers on QMS business process setup and continuous improvement.
• Lead cross functional teams to ensure compliance to QA standards with improvements for ease of use.
• Work closely with Manufacturing Quality Engineering to ensure internal audits comply with standards and provide training for QMS core tools.
• Supervise technicians administering document control and customer specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including factory and business unit leadership.
