Job summary

SlingShot Connections in Henderson, NV seeks a Quality Systems Engineer to lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) while ensuring ISO 9001 compliance across the organization. You will drive CAPA, internal audits, and process improvements with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–7+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 9001, and ERP tools. Some travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 3–7+ years of quality systems or quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS implementation.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or improving quality management systems.
• Experience leading internal audits and supporting external certification audits.
• Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Communicates effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
• ASQ CQE or CQA (preferred).
• ERP systems, document control, and statistical quality tools (preferred).
• Experience in regulated or process manufacturing environments (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the QMS.
• Maintain ISO 9001 compliance and support audits.
• Serve as SME for quality systems, procedures, and document control.
• Develop, revise, maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct internal, supplier, and process audits.
• Manage CAPA activities and root cause investigations.
• Support nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Facilitate management review meetings and monitor QMS performance metrics.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments to improve product quality and process performance.
• Support customer audits and customer quality requirements.
• Provide training and guidance on quality system requirements and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
