Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking a motivated Business Quality Engineer for its Durham location. The role involves preparing documentation for quality processes and collaborating with internal teams to ensure compliance within the Quality Management System.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Engineering with up to 3 years of experience or an associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with quality systems in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or a technical field of study with 0-3 years of experience.
• Experience with IATF 16949, AS9100, or ISO9001 is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Consult with stakeholders to draft documentation related to Product Change Notifications.
• Track and report on status of open PCNs for timely customer notifications.
• Support PPAP Compilation by collecting and analyzing quality data.

Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in semiconductor or regulated manufacturing

Excellent communication skills

Project management skills

Understanding of quality core tools

Education

BS in Engineering or Technical field

Associate’s degree in relevant field with experience
