Howmet Aerospace Inc. is hiring a Quality Engineer for our Whitehall Casting Operation. The role will address manufacturing and shipment issues to meet customer specifications and support quality manuals and continuous improvement initiatives.

The position emphasizes root cause analysis, corrective actions, and collaboration with shop floor and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for the role.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
• 3 years of quality and/or engineering experience with strong dimensional and analytical skills.
• Experience with quality systems (AS9100, NADCAP) and structured problem-solving (8D).
• Experience in aerospace or automotive environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing and shipment issues relative to customer specifications.
• Support the administration of quality manuals and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with shop floor and engineering to drive quality improvements.
