Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Automation Technician for Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operations. The role focuses on sustaining operation and repair of automated equipment, working closely with product, process and manufacturing engineers to improve cycle times, quality, and OEE.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and implement permanent solutions, with strong emphasis on safety and reliability in a high‑demand manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sustaining operation and repair of automated equipment.
• Assist product, process and manufacturing engineers to improve operating processes, cycle times, quality, OEE & labor utilization by automating processes.
