Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to support the QMS at our Durham, NC or Marcy, NY sites. You will manage QMS software administration, drive audits, and ensure compliance with IATF and AS9100 standards while collaborating with IT, quality and operations teams.

You will work with product and process engineers, improving requirements management, documentation control and supplier quality interfaces, in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience managing QMS to IATF 16949/AS9100/ISO9001.
• Experience with QMS software tool administration.
• Certified auditor to the above standards.
• Knowledge of quality systems, semiconductor materials, and wafer fabrication.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Expertise in quality core tools (FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC).
• Works independently with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Interface with factory and quality engineers on QMS setup and improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure QA standards compliance.
• Ensure internal audits comply with standards and training for QMS tools.
• Supervise document control and customer-specific requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Quality and Operations.
