Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a data and software solutions professional to independently perform analyses and implement data, software, or technology solutions.

You will ensure precision, reliability, and timeliness under the direction of a more senior leader. The role requires understanding of software development lifecycle principles, cloud deployments, and data integration and warehousing, with a focus on high-quality, scalable analytics for global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with software development lifecycle principles, including version control (git), CICD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments for quality and operational platforms.
• Experience with C#, Java, or other modern programming languages (Python, Node.js, etc.).
• Experience with .Net frameworks.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of quality system requirements (GxP, FDA, ISO 9001), and regulatory technology practices.
• Strong passion for learning new software technologies, especially AI and analytics.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technology certifications are highly preferred, AWS certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks competently and independently and generate reliable and consistent results.
• Analyze and critique results, noting significant variances or deviations.
• Troubleshoot algorithms, protocols, and software programs.
• Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques and appropriately modify protocols, as required, to suit the changing needs of our business.
• Learn and understand new methods and technologies.
• Obtain estimates/quotes from vendors and provide as input into overall project time and cost estimates.
• Produces and maintains required technical documentation associated with work products.
• Ensure adherence to AbbVie's Corporate and Divisional Policies regarding code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and the SDLC.
• Leverage AWS expertise to architect solutions that are high-performance, cost-optimized, and reliable for global operations.
