Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Systems Engineer with an automotive/industrial focus. You will champion quality across Engineering, Manufacturing, Production and Operations to deliver compliant, reliable products.

You’ll lead structured problem-solving (8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma), respond to customer concerns, coordinate actions, and drive containment, inspections, and corrective actions. ISO 9001/IATF 16949 knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; manufacturing/quality experience welcomed.
• Experience with quality tools and process controls is essential.
• Comfort with data analysis software and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer’s primary quality contact and coordinate actions to resolve concerns.
• Lead root-cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Six Sigma) and verify effectiveness on the floor.
• Implement containment, inspection, sorting and countermeasures as needed.
• Support APQP/PPAP, new product/process introductions, and process validation.
• Drive readiness for production and conduct early-build quality checks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve products, processes, and capabilities.
• Run cross-functional problem-solving sessions and standardize quality methods.
• Investigate nonconformances and implement preventive actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects to boost quality and reduce waste.
• Collect/analyze data to qualify/validate components, processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with internal/customer requirements and standards.
• Maintain quality documentation and train teams on expectations.
