Job summary

CECO Environmental seeks a Quality Coordinator to support the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate audits, manage CAPA, maintain documentation, and partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 3+ years in quality, knowledge of ISO 9001, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality systems, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience managing audits, corrective actions, and document control systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and administer the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with company standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal, customer, and third-party audits and assist with audit preparation and follow-up activities.
• Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes, including tracking, verification, and closure.
• Investigate quality issues, nonconformances, and customer complaints, utilizing root cause analysis techniques.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and prepare monthly quality reports for management review.
• Maintain document control processes for procedures, work instructions, forms, and records.
• Partner with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
• Coordinate employee training records and ensure compliance with quality‑related training requirements.
• Support supplier quality initiatives, including supplier evaluations and corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on quality, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of ISO standards and other applicable certifications.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Perform and oversee inspections and ensure proper documentation, reporting, and timely completion.
• Supervise and mentor Quality Control Inspection activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
