Job summary

Jobot in Minnesota seeks a hands-on Quality Supervisor to drive a culture of quality and operational accountability. You will oversee the quality management system, product quality, and documentation while partnering across operations, warehouse, manufacturing, sales, and engineering.

You’ll lead audits, continuous improvement, and training, with one direct report while staying close to hands-on quality work and supporting ISO 9001 readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in quality within manufacturing, distribution, or similar.
• 1–2+ years of supervision or team lead experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and internal audits.
• Experience with nonconformance management and corrective action.
• Ability to read technical drawings and quality documentation.
• Internal auditor training preferred.
• Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement.
• Calibration systems and document control experience preferred.
• Manufacturing, light assembly, or distribution process exposure

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of quality and ownership across the organization.
• Own and improve the quality management system, including related software and documentation.
• Lead audit readiness and execution, including internal and external audits.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, warehouse, manufacturing, sales, customer service, and engineering.
• Own quality performance metrics, tracking and improvement actions.
• Analyze trends, identify risks, and translate data into preventative actions.
• Lead and manage one Quality Inspector and ensure consistent inspection processes.
• Lead and enforce nonconformance processes with systemic resolution.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Oversee calibration program and ensure audit-ready equipment.
• Maintain quality records, certificates, and training documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the organization.
• Clarify quality expectations and cross-functional ownership.
• Communicate the value of the quality system to customer-facing teams when appropriate.
