Job summary

MSI Express, INC is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality department, ensuring safe and wholesome products with high customer satisfaction. You will develop policies, procedures, and documentation to sustain quality across production.

The role emphasizes leadership, HACCP program oversight, audits, and continuous improvement in a second-shift, in-person environment. A biology/chemistry background and 5+ years in quality are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality with exposure to all major functional areas of Quality and Food Safety.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety programs.
• Experience with audits (customer/regulatory/in-house).
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and GMPs.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and training in quality, food safety, sanitation, GMPs, and customer service.
• Maintain communication across departments to protect production priorities and customer service.
• Establish and review HACCP programs.
• Conduct customer, regulatory, and internal audits.
• Monitor plant performance and implement action plans.
• Maintain understanding of customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality standards, batch sheets, and specs.
• Ensure adherence to customer quality policies and procedures.
• Create a positive work environment that supports continuous improvement.
• Adhere to regulatory rules ensuring food safety and product performance.
• Assist in SQF 2000 system development and maintenance.
• Document job descriptions for food safety responsibilities and coverage.
• Review food safety fundamentals when changes occur.
• Maintain records of changes to the SQF system and validations.
• As SQF Practitioner, validate changes.
• Timely report Food Safety and Quality problems to authorized personnel.
