Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, IA is seeking a Quality Supervisor to ensure products and processes comply with regulations, specifications, contract requirements, and quality system standards. You will guide daily testing activities and coordinate with production to release product.

The role requires supervisory experience, strong QA/QC knowledge, and proficiency with quality software and data analysis tools. Excellent training and leadership skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Three (3) years’ experience in quality control/related role
• Two (2) years’ in management/leadership experience
• Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the quality control team, including inspectors and technicians.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for production processes.
• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet company and industry quality standards.
• Document inspection outcomes, maintain records, and prepare reports for management.
• Identify recurring quality issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve them.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
• Coordinate quality inspections and audits; manage nonconforming products and containment actions.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and QA/QC processes.
