Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, IA is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead the quality control team, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive continuous improvement across production. You will supervise inspectors and technicians, develop QC procedures, and coordinate audits and reporting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3+ years in quality control, 2+ years in leadership, and proficiency in quality software and data analysis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required for QA leadership role.
• 3+ years of experience in quality control, assurance, or related field.
• 2+ years in management and/or leadership roles.
• Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the quality control team, including inspectors and technicians.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, policies, and standards.
• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Document inspection outcomes and prepare reports for management.
• Identify recurring quality issues and collaborate with production teams to resolve them.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular audits of QC processes for compliance with regulations.
• Manage nonconforming products and coordinate containment and disposition.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects and SOP development.
