Job summary

Kerry in Owen, WI is seeking a Quality professional to lead product safety andQuality Assurance tasks at our Owens facility. You will drive incident investigations, ensure GMP and sanitation standards, inspect production areas, and compile quality data for release.

The role requires a college degree in a related field and 3+ years of QA experience in manufacturing. HACCP/SQF are a plus; strong collaboration and problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• College diploma or BS in Food Safety, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of quality experience in a production environment (food manufacturing preferred).
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems and develop corrective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate incident investigations and drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor GMP, sanitation and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Inspect equipment/rooms for cleanliness and readiness for production.
• Review/assist in compiling quality data and perform positive release.
• Lead transitions to Total Quality Management and food safety programs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on on-site initiatives and audits.
• Support Change Management/Change Control and FSMS/QMS adherence.
• Lead audit preparedness and act as site quality leader during audits.
