Job summary

CREATIVE WERKS LLC in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead hourly Quality Department personnel and ensure GMP and food safety standards on the factory floor. The role collaborates with plant supervision to improve processes and reduce food safety risks while delivering quality excellence for customers.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality metrics, driving corrective actions, overseeing QA holds, and conducting root cause analysis with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in life or physical sciences, Food Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Certified SQF Practitioner or equivalent preferred.
• Certified in HACCP and/or PCQI preferred.
• Experienced or certified in internal auditing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct personnel to assure adherence with quality systems, specifications, and customer expectations.
• Monitor plant food safety and quality performance metrics and communicate across departments to address priorities and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure QA Hold process is executed and aligns with procedures.
• Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement based on data.
• Review primary packaging and evaluate incoming product quality as schedule allows.
• Oversee production records and FG COA review and release.
• Maintain adherence to sampling programs for finished goods and environment testing.
• Schedule and supervise hourly Quality personnel and ensure adherence.
• Foster a knowledgeable, positive work environment with coaching and training in quality standards.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
