Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with manufacturers in Manistee, MI to identify an experienced Quality Supervisor. This role focuses on leading quality teams, developing QC procedures, and ensuring products meet stringent specifications.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in a technical field, 5+ years in QA/QC in manufacturing, and 2+ years in supervision, with strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of quality assurance/control experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools (SPC, FMEA, RCA).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of quality control inspectors.
• Develops and implements quality control procedures and standards.
• Monitors production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Investigates and resolves quality-related issues and customer complaints.
• Trains and mentors quality control staff on best practices and new technologies.
• Analyzes quality data and prepares reports for management review.
• Collaborates with other departments to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal quality management systems.
