Job summary

Jabil in Grantsville, UT is seeking a Quality Supervisor for second shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM). You will lead Quality Inspectors, drive adherence to customer and company requirements, and push continuous improvement across production lines.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and a solid background in quality inspection methods. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

2nd Shift | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

How will you make an impact?

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing Quality Inspectors while ensuring internal and external customer requirements are consistently met. This role drives quality performance through effective team leadership, training, process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence.

What will you do?
  • Supervise daily activities of Quality Inspectors and other assigned personnel.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Quality team members.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback, development, and performance management.
  • Develop and maintain training programs to ensure employees are qualified to customer and company requirements.
  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling to meet production and quality objectives.
  • Train and qualify inspectors to customer-specific quality standards and inspection requirements.
  • Monitor quality and productivity metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on inspection-related issues.
  • Support 5S and workplace organization initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company procedures, and all safety, health, security, and operational standards.
How will you get here?
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
  • 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, quality, or related environment.
  • Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience with quality inspection processes and quality systems preferred.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection methods, quality standards, and best practices.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality-related documentation systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in quality inspection, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and quality management systems.
