Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor in Forest Park, Illinois, reporting to the Quality Manager. You will supervise technicians and leads, drive daily performance, ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, and champion GMPs and continuous improvement.

You will coordinate CAPA and NCR activities, support internal audits, oversee training, and collaborate with production to strengthen the food safety program and SOP updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field preferred.
• HACCP certification and GFSI audits experience such as FSSC 22000 or SQF a plus.
• PCQI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for quality and food safety practices during operations.
• Maintain CAPA and NCR processes with root cause analysis.
• Lead and develop quality and sanitation teams and training.
• Coordinate internal audits and GMP compliance.
• Support pre-op, post-op and inspections; ensure SOP updates.
