Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Quality, reporting to the Manager, Quality. You will supervise technicians and leads, drive daily performance, and partner across teams to ensure food safety and quality standards.

You’ll strengthen GMPs and support a culture of continuous improvement. You will ensure training, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and lead environmental monitoring and product testing programs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in quality roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• B.S. degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field preferred.
• HACCP certification and GFSI audits experience such as FSSC 22000 or SQF a plus.
• PCQI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for quality and food safety practices during operations.
• Maintains holds and develops CAPA using root cause analysis.
• Manages quality and sanitation team by scheduling timecards and training staff.
• Facilitates monitoring of processes for effectiveness and continuous improvement.
• Initiate, track and trend NCRs/CAPAs.
• Participate in internal audits and GMP audits.
• Coordinate pre-op and post-op inspections and liaise between management and quality staff.
• Maintain the food safety plan and update SOPs as required.
• Ensure training of associates on quality programs.
