Responsibilities

• Ensure staff trained in plant policy and procedures
• Maintain sufficient trained staff including onboarding/interviewing
• Develop employees with team leaders in accountability and teamwork
• Oversee training and training-logs; ensure proper documentation
• Enter payroll/billing hours, inspection logs, and reports into the QDC daily
• Ensure operation structure and procedures are followed and project folders are maintained

Express Employment is seeking aQuality Supervisor for all 3 shifts to work on-site at one of our customer locations in N Lafayette, Indiana

Supervise operations in accordance with customer plant policies and procedures. Assist in managing and training team leaders and inspectors to meet customer specifications, as directed by the Regional Manager. Ensure smooth operation during the shift while continually communicating with personnel on the floor to ensure proper support.

Quality Supervisor Pay Rate: $27.00-$30.00 per hour.

Candidate must be fluent in English (Bilingual Spanish is a plus)

Job Responsibilities & Duties for the Quality Supervisor:

• Supervise, train, and lead quality inspectors as directed by the site manager


• Maintain the daily schedule of all active projects and verify all approved billable positions are filled. Work closely with Regional Manager and office administrator to assure coverage is available when needed.


• Verify and maintain updated signed work instructions are present


• Verify each associate has read, understands and has signed the approved work instructions


• Verify that all staff have been trained in the plant policy and procedures specific to the plant they are working.


• Maintain sufficient trained staff to keep projects operating to full capacity, including but not limited to onboarding and interviewing when the Regional Manager is unavailable.


• Develop all new and current employees in conjunction with Team Leaders in accountability, teamwork, and a positive work environment.


• Oversee all training of personnel, including quality inspectors and team leaders. Verify that all training logs are being updated and personnel are being trained properly.


• Verify and enter payroll/Billing hours, inspection logs, and sort reports into the QDC daily.


• Assure present operation structure and procedures are followed as trained, and all documents are accurately maintained and submitted to the Administrative Assistant at the close of each project. This will include submission of the project checklists and all supporting documentation. Manage and maintain project folders in hard copy form to be turned in monthly.


• Continually review inconsistencies in performance or quality with the Regional Operations Manager and Human Resources.


• Ensure a clean and safe work area


• Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and the Regional Manager


• And other duties as assigned

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
