Job summary

SURGE Staffing is seeking Quality Inspectors for manufacturing facilities across Indiana. You will inspect parts and products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to perform visual and dimensional inspections. Prior quality or production experience is preferred; strong attendance and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing, production, warehouse, or quality inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and understand basic measurements and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts and products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections
• Use basic measuring and inspection tools as required
• Compare parts against specifications, samples, drawings, or work instructions
• Identify and separate defective or non-conforming products
• Record inspection results and production information accurately
• Complete quality documentation and reports
• Perform rework or sorting activities when necessary
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors or production personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow established quality, safety, and production procedures
• Assist with containment and inspection projects as needed
• Meet production and quality expectations while maintaining accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned

We are hiring Quality Inspectors for manufacturing facilities throughout Indiana. These positions are responsible for inspecting parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong production backgrounds and good attention to detail are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts and products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies


• Perform visual and dimensional inspections


• Use basic measuring and inspection tools as required


• Compare parts against specifications, samples, drawings, or work instructions

Requirements
