Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks a Quality Assurance professional to ensure SQF alignment and support certification maintenance across plant operations.

You will coordinate with departments on initial product setup, manage documentation, train staff, and analyze data to uphold quality and safety standards. The role involves audit support and cross-functional collaboration on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience aligning documentation with quality policy and SQF elements.
• Strong knowledge of plant floor activities and product setup processes.
• Experience maintaining certifications (Kosher, RSPO, Organic) and supporting audits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure documentation aligns with quality policy and SQF.
• Develop connection with departments involved in initial product setup.
• Maintain SQF, Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certifications.
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for services.
• Lead personnel training, scheduling, and supervision.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform data analysis and corrective/action investigations.

Key Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Ensure alignment of documentation with quality policy and SQF elements
• Develop a strong connection with departments involved in the initial product setup
• Develop a strong knowledge of plant floor activities
• Support the maintenance of SQF certification
• Support the maintenance of Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certification
• Document control
• Data Analysis
• Personnel Training, Scheduling, and Supervision, and review
• Corrective Action/Preventative action investigation
• Inventory Management
• Internal and External Audit Support
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for various services (calibration, repairs, etc)
• Must be detail-oriented Good verbal and written skills,
