Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking an experienced operations leader to supervise manufacturing teams on the plant floor. You will train and coach staff, manage the production schedule, and address rework and equipment downtime to keep production on track.

You will uphold hygiene, safety, and quality standards, track materials in inventory software, and document production data to support continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coaching staff.
• Experience ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach employees to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
• Manage the production schedule to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products, addressing any rework.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and processing areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Maintain inventory management software for accurate tracking of materials.
• Record production data during quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.
• Obtain information from relevant sources through observation, data entry, and database management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
