Job summary

Roskam Foods, a Grand Rapids-based contract manufacturer, seeks a quality documentation specialist to ensure SQF alignment and support certification programs across multiple facilities. The role involves close collaboration with production and QA teams to maintain documentation accuracy and drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in food quality documentation, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to audit readiness and cross-functional training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in documentation or quality systems.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to train and supervise teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure alignment of documentation with quality policy and SQF elements.
• Develop knowledge of plant floor activities and product setup processes.
• Support maintenance of SQF certification and Kosher, RSPO, and Organic certifications.
• Document control and data analysis to improve quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for calibration, repairs, and audits.
• Assist in training, scheduling, supervision, and review of personnel.
