Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking a Quality Technician to monitor product quality and safety across multiple processes. You will engage in inspection, testing, and communication to uphold our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining HACCP and SQF compliance, reporting deviations, and partnering with production to drive continuous improvement. A strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Two year or BS degree in a scientific field is preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in quality systems in the industry.
• Working knowledge of quality systems to ensure food safety and quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft software and general computing skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain key indicators of product quality and safety through inspection and testing.
• Promote maintenance of HACCP, allergen control, GMPs, document control, traceability and CAPA.
• Report deviations in quality processes to the Quality Supervisor.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure plant procedures align with quality policy and SQF elements.
• Maintain testing and inspections aligned with plant quality procedures and specifications.
