Job summary

ATI is seeking a Quality Specialist to support our Specialty Rolled Products unit. The preferred work location for this role is Natrona Heights, PA. Washington, PA will also be considered.

The role focuses on managing customer specifications, coordinating with Product Metallurgy and Analytical Services, maintaining the Internal Master Specification System (IMS), and supporting ERP/MES implementations. This is a full-time onsite position based in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree OR four years of experience in a heavy industrial quality or technical focused role.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of IBM MES ERP system (PSI), Tandem ERP System, SharePoint Content Management and SharePoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process all customer specification review requests.
• Collaborate with Product Metallurgy, Analytical Services and Mechanical Test Labs to determine testing requirements and develop spec codes.
• Process new revisions of society specifications (AMS, ASTM, ASME, etc.).
• Maintain the current Internal Master Specification System (IMS).
• Access customer portals for latest specification revisions.
• Maintain the Fixed Flow SharePoint System.
• Complete requests from Engineering for new melt codes and melt code changes.
• Develop and update Quality Procedures.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of a new Oracle ERP system as it relates to specification review and melt codes (Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - PSI).
