Job summary

ATI is seeking a Quality Specialist to support our Specialty Rolled Products unit. The preferred work location is Natrona Heights, PA; Washington, PA is also considered.

The role focuses on maintaining specification review systems, processing customer requests, and coordinating with Product Metallurgy, Analytical Services and Test Labs. The candidate will help update quality procedures, assist in ERP/MES implementations, and ensure accurate specification data across portals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of experience in a heavy industrial quality or technical focused role.
• Experience with ERP systems (PSI) and SharePoint is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple specification review tasks and coordinate with internal labs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SharePoint specification review system
• Process all customer specification review requests
• Collaborate with Product Metallurgy, Analytical Services and Mechanical Test Labs to determine testing requirements and develop spec codes
• Process new revisions of society specifications (AMS, ASTM, ASME, etc.)
• Maintain the current Internal Master Specification System (IMS)
• Access customer portals for latest specification revisions
• Maintain the Fixed Flow SharePoint System and complete requests from Engineering for new melt codes and melt code changes
• Develop and update Quality Procedures
• Assist in ERP system implementation related to specification review and melt codes (MES PSI)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain SharePoint specification review system

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree OR four years of experience in a heavy industrial quality or technical focused role

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field
