Job summary

ATI is seeking a Quality Specialist to support our Specialty Rolled Products unit. Preferred location is Natrona Heights, PA; Washington, PA is also considered.

The role centers on reviewing specifications, maintaining systems, and coordinating with Metallurgy, Analytical Services and Test Labs to define test requirements and codes. Requirements include two years of experience interpreting technical documentation, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ERP/SharePoint familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the SharePoint specification review system.
• Process all customer specification review requests.
• Collaborate with Product Metallurgy, Analytical Services and Mechanical Test Labs to determine testing requirements and develop spec codes.
• Process new revisions of society specifications (AMS, ASTM, ASME, etc.).
• Maintain the current Internal Master Specification System (IMS).
• Access customer portals for latest specification revisions.
• Maintain the Fixed Flow SharePoint System.
• Complete requests from Engineering for new melt codes and melt code changes.
• Develop and update Quality Procedures.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of a new Oracle ERP system as it relates to specification review and melt codes (MES - PSI).
