SubCom, a leader in undersea fiber optic communications, is seeking a Quality Specialist II (Repeater Tester) to join the Production Testing team in the United States. You will perform detailed electro-optical tests on repeaters and sub-assemblies, generate incident reports, and collaborate with manufacturing and quality to ensure high reliability and safety.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a clean room, and flexibility to cover multiple shifts.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18-24 months experience as repeater tester.
• Experience in optical/electronic testing preferred.
• Must pass a written test.
• Knowledge of Windows applications is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Performs electro-optical tests on multiple sub-assemblies, assemblies and finished products.
• Generates incident reports to track non-compliances in the testing process.
• Interfaces with manufacturing and quality departments.
• Performs basic computer functions and works within multiple software applications.
• Follows safety guidelines (PPE, etc.) and demonstrates safe work practices.
• Maintains a good safety record and communicates unsafe situations.
• Adheres to safety and quality standards and works in a team.
• Represents the company professionally when interacting with customers and visitors.
• Promotes process improvement within the department.
• Responds to multiple production assignments in a timely manner.
