SubCom in Newington, NH is seeking a Quality Specialist II (Repeater Tester) to perform detailed electro-optical tests on repeaters and sub-assemblies in a clean-room environment. You will generate incident reports, interface with manufacturing and quality teams, and follow strict safety and testing procedures to ensure high reliability products.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18–24 months tester experience, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 18–24 months experience as repeater tester.
• Previous related experience or training preferred.
• Must pass a written, job-related test.
• Experience with computers in testing environments; Windows apps a plus.
• Ability to read/execute test procedures accurately.
• Must stay responsible with minimal supervision and be a productive team member.
• Knowledge of optical/electronic testing tools (e.g., oscilloscope, optical meters) preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and shifts as needed.
• English proficiency in speaking, reading and writing with technical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs electro-optical tests on multiple sub-assemblies and finished products.
• Generates incident reports to track non-compliances.
• Interfaces with manufacturing and quality departments.
• Performs basic computer functions and uses multiple software applications.
• Follows verbal and written instructions and safety guidelines.
• Works in a clean room environment adhering to safety and environmental requirements.
• Represents the Company professionally when interacting with customers and visitors.
• Supports department process improvements (e.g., 5S initiatives).
• Adapts to multiple production assignments and overtime as needed.
• Maintains safety and quality goals and metrics.
