Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit is hiring a Quality Specialist to perform testing per the inspection plan for bulk manufacturing products. You will handle viscosity, cure, tensile, stability, titrations, and other analytical tests, and maintain documentation for materials and samples.

You will support investigations of customer complaints, verify production adherence to quality requirements, and assist calibration and safety/compliance activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in a Science discipline or 5 years of equivalent Lab/Manufacturing experience.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing/chemical industry or quality profession.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IATF standards preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing to the inspection plan for bulk manufacturing products.
  • Record and retain all necessary documentation for materials and samples.
  • Assist investigations of customer complaints and non-conforming materials.
  • Support calibration processes and comply with safety, health, and environmental rules.

What You´ll Do


  • The Quality Specialist will be responsible for performing testing to the inspection plan for bulk manufacturing products. Testing includes standard QC methods, including but not limited to viscosity, cure speed/temperature, tensile lap shear performance, stability, titrations, various analytical tests and others as needed.

  • Records, reports, and retains all necessary documentation for incoming and outgoing materials and samples.

  • Aid in customer complaint and non‑conforming material investigations, verify production adherence to manufacturing quality requirements.

  • May assist Quality Control supervisor with calibration process.

  • Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures, and regulations.


What makes you a good fit


  • Bachelor's/Associate's Degree in a Science discipline, or 5 years of equivalent Lab / Manufacturing experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing / chemical industry or within the quality profession.

  • Preferred Knowledge and experience with ISO/IATF standards.

  • PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SAP or other ERP systems.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, extended shifts and/or other shifts on occasion.

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

The salary range for this role is $57,000.00 and $68,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
