Job summary

Henkel’s Adhesive Technologies unit seeks a quality engineer to drive NCMR containment, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement across manufacturing and supply chains. You will partner with manufacturing, engineering and technical teams to resolve issues and implement process enhancements.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2+ years in manufacturing quality, with experience in ISO 9001, 8D, CAPA and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2+ years quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with NCMR, MRB and ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Proven 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication, project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with SAP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Drive NCMR process including containment, disposition decisions and closure.
  • Lead quality issue resolution with root cause analysis, 8D investigations, CAPA and verification of effectiveness.
  • Monitor, analyze and report quality performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Develop, maintain and improve quality systems, policies and work instructions.
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering and technical teams to implement quality improvements.
  • Provide training and day-to-day support on quality processes and respond to customer requests.

What you´ll do
  • Drive theNon-Conformance Material Review (NCMR) process, including containment,disposition decisions, investigation coordination, and timely closure ofactions.
  • Lead quality issue resolutionthrough root cause analysis, 8D investigations, corrective actions, andverification of effectiveness.
  • Monitor, analyze, and reportquality performance metrics, identifying trends and opportunities forcontinuous improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and improvequality systems, policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensurecompliance and operational excellence.
  • Partner with manufacturing,engineering, and technical teams to resolve quality issues and implementprocess and product quality improvements.
  • Provide training, guidance,and day-to-day support on quality systems and processes, while supportingcustomer requests and strategic quality initiatives
What makes you a good fit
  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering required, with 2+ years of quality experience in amanufacturing, aerospace, automotive,or related industrial environment.
  • Experience with materialreview board, NCMR coordination, quality systems and standards,including ISO 9001 and other relevant quality, environmental, and safetymanagement systems.
  • Proven experience with problem-solving methodologiessuch as 8D, root cause analysis, CAPA, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication,project management, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborateeffectively across cross-functional teams and manage customerrequirements.
  • Proficiencywith SAP systems. Microsoft Office and quality management tools; experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing environments andwillingness to travel are highly desirable.

The salary range for this role is $73,000.00 and $107,000.00. This range represents the good‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offer for this role at the time of posting. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, as applicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
