Job summary

Furst-McNess Company is seeking a full-time Quality & Safety Technician at our Lodi, WI location to support safety, quality, and environmental compliance across facilities by conducting inspections, collecting samples, maintaining records, and assisting with training and continuous improvement. This on-site role collaborates with operations to promote a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years in safety, quality, or compliance in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
  • OSHA, FDA, FSMA knowledge preferred; PCQI certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine safety, quality, and facility inspections using checklists.
  • Observe daily practices and reinforce safe behaviors and proper equipment use.
  • Assist in investigations; document findings and support corrective actions.
  • Collect, label, and test samples per procedures; ensure traceability.
  • Maintain records for audits, inspections, and compliance programs.
  • Support training and the development of SOPs and safety procedures.

See our benefits summary below.POSITION SUMMARY:The Quality & Safety Technician supports compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards across Company facilities. This role helps ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies by conducting inspections, collecting samples, maintaining records, and supporting training and continuous improvement efforts.
