Job summary

Seven Seas Water Group is seeking a Quality Specialist to build and run the QA/QC and safety systems behind our water and wastewater operations in Tampa. You will develop and maintain ISO 9001 compliant documentation, lead field inspections, and partner with Engineering to ensure safe, auditable handovers from design to operations.

You'll drive a safety-first culture across field, office, and project environments, investigate incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and deliver KPIs and reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in construction, industrial, or multi-discipline engineering environments.
• Process mindset with ability to map and improve workflows.
• Comfort visiting active job sites and field inspections.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, Lean, or Six Sigma is a plus.
• Positive, solution-oriented with a proactive attitude toward safety.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture across field, office, and project sites.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses with EHS; perform root cause analysis.
• Develop digital safety and process training content.
• Establish evidence preservation processes after incidents.
• Build and maintain QA/QC systems and ISO 9001 docs.
• Run field inspections, audits, and quality reviews.
• Standardize SOPs and work instructions across units.
• Create centralized documentation system for maintenance and engineering drawings.
• Partner with Engineering on a handover process from design to operations.
• Ensure each asset has clear ownership and documentation trail.
