Job summary

Justrite Safety Group in Brooksville, FL is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to create, implement, and enforce QA SOPs and programs across the facility. You will ensure products and processes meet regulatory standards and support cross‑functional teams to drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in quality assurance, operations management, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in quality control, ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, and QA principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and quality management software (QMS/ERP).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain and update SOPs, work instructions, and inspection criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis and CAPA for quality issues and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, sales, customer service, and supply chain to resolve quality issues.
• Support internal and external audits (ISO, FDA, customer).
• Monitor quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in quality training program development.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, FDA as applicable.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of quality equipment and tools.
• Champion lean manufacturing efforts.
• Review customer complaints to drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain thorough quality records.
