Job summary

Bradford District and Craven Mind (BDC Mind) is seeking a dedicated Quality, Safety & Practice Manager to lead quality assurance, safeguarding, and risk management across the organisation. The role focuses on strengthening learning from incidents, complaints, audits and lived experiences to drive improvement and ensure high-quality, person-centred services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality assurance, safeguarding and risk management in health, social care or mental health settings.
• Ability to interpret incidents, complaints, audits and feedback to drive service improvements.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and support teams to implement learning and practice development.
• Strong governance, reporting and assurance skills for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for quality, safety and practice across the organisation.
• Coordinate quality, safeguarding and risk assurance activity through audits, reviews and incident learning.
• Embed trauma-informed, anti-discriminatory and person-centred practice across services.
• Ensure safeguarding arrangements are implemented, monitored and reviewed effectively.
• Lead reporting of quality metrics and provide dashboards for senior leaders.
• Engage with managers, staff and stakeholders to drive improvements and service user involvement.
