Job summary

Capital One's Card Risk Process Excellence Team is hiring a Risk Manager to lead the Quality Control Testing Program and evolve its quality program in alignment with Enterprise Control Standard. The role requires strong risk management, testing expertise, and the ability to lead indirectly to deliver high-quality value across multiple stakeholder groups.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of Risk Management, Process Management, or Project Management experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• At least 2 years of change management experience in process improvement and transformation.
• At least 3 years of experience in process management leading cross functional projects and programs in Risk.
• At least 3 years of experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance software tools.

Responsibilities

• Management and day to day people leadership and operations of quality control assessment team.
• Understand and disseminate Enterprise Control Standard requirements to multiple business areas.
• Management and oversight of quality control process, methodology and performance metrics.
• Participating in Well Managed and tester training programs including developing, and continuously evolving the Card program training to ensure compliance with the Enterprise Control Standard.
• Engaging in Card and Divisional activities as warranted to drive career growth and development.
• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders, driving cross-functional opportunities to grow brand, processes and an enhanced risk management environment.
