Job summary

Mimbres Valley Medical Center is seeking a Manager Quality and Risk to administer the Risk Management program, serve as liaison on legal matters, and guide facility leadership on risk and quality issues. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), five years of experience including three in healthcare, and proven process improvement and project leadership skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Five years experience required.
• Three years experience in Healthcare environment.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or PMP is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to guide facility leadership.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Risk Management program.
• Act as liaison with attorneys on legal matters.
• Provide guidance on risk management and legal issues to facility leadership.
• Manage the Physician Quality program.
• Work with departments to identify and reduce risk to the facility, employees, and patients.
• Implement process optimization solutions using BPM and optimization tools.
