Job summary

Intel Foundry in the United States (Phoenix) seeks a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer to ensure ramps meet stringent quality standards. You will evaluate materials, processes, and testing, perform audits, and build early-detection systems for discrepancies.

You will lead cost, ramp, and production-volume optimization while preserving quality, collaborate with product engineering, and apply data analytics to identify insights that boost product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, other engineering, Physics or STEM fields with 3+ years of experience.
• Masters with 1+ years of experience in same fields.
• PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, other engineering, Physics or STEM fields with related academic or work experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive manufacturing ramp qualifications to ensure processes and products meet quality and reliability standards.
• Specify inspection and testing mechanisms to monitor product and production equipment compliance.
• Conduct in-depth quality assessments and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead initiatives to optimize cost, ramp, and production volume efforts while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with product engineering forums to recommend design or process improvements for enhanced reliability.
• Develop proactive systems and capabilities for early detection and containment of discrepancies.
• Manage material dispositions and oversee risk assessments for discrepant products or processes.
• Analyze reliability monitor data, leveraging statistical and machine learning techniques to identify insights that improve product quality.
• Respond to customer concerns related to manufacturing and provide engineering solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
