Job summary

Colonna’s Shipyard, Inc. is seeking a Quality Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate quality inspections across the project. You will monitor inspectors and trades, report issues to management, and coordinate quality initiatives at all management levels.

The role reports to the Quality Manager or Director of Quality Programs and requires onsite work at the Norfolk, VA shipyard with possible extended hours to support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, administrative, or related field.
• At least five (5) years of work experience in project management or administrative services; plus 4 additional years in leu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspector schedules for assigned area (fabrication or shipyard).
• Track, compile, and submit data; document concerns or disputes.
• Identify problems early; recommend and implement corrective actions.
