Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Quality Program Manager to lead the program's Quality plan and drive compliance with industry standards, contractual requirements, and customer expectations across the lifecycle.

The role requires leadership, RCCA experience, and the ability to obtain a security clearance, with responsibilities including budget management, data analysis, and coordinating with engineering, production, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Leadership skills and/or experience leading a team
• Root Cause and Corrective Action experience
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the program’s Quality plan and lead the Quality team ensuring compliance to industry standards, contractual requirements and customer expectations.
• Serve as the Quality Point of Contact for the Program & leads the Quality Program Team across all areas of the program/product lifecycle.
• Ensure communication and flow down of requirements to internal teams and external supply base.
• Develop and manage the Quality budget for the program.
• Analyze quality performance data, identify recurring issues, drive root cause analyses and corrective actions, escalate as needed.
• Ensure QA resources are in place to support surveillance activity and upcoming deliverables.
• Flow Program and Quality information to the Quality Program Team.
• Provide Quality progress updates in support of the program’s rhythm.
• Review quality data for trends and take action as needed.
• Document program non-compliances and assign ownership for resolution.
• Collaborate with Engineering & Technology and Production Operations on process questions or changes.
