The Boeing Company seeks a Quality Production Specialist (Level 2/3) to support the PRIME Quality MRSA team in North Charleston, SC on 2nd shift. You will review non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions for aerospace components.

You will train and mentor colleagues, validate action plans, ensure QMS compliance, and report on quality metrics. A Bachelor’s degree and familiarity with Velocity/CMES are preferred; relocation may be offered.

Competenze

  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • 1+ years of experience analyzing and summarizing raw data from various sources and recommending executable actions.
  • 3+ years of experience in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets).
  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • Reviews corrective actions on audits to ensure proper handling of media.
  • Interprets industry standards and provides implementation recommendations.
  • Creates analytic reports and coordinates distribution with responsible parties.

Quality Production Specialist (Material Review Board)

Company: The Boeing Company

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Production Specialist (Level 2 and 3) to support the PRIME Quality MRSA team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

In this role, you will review and validate product non-conformances, perform analysis to evaluate product quality, and conduct failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components. Additionally, you will train and mentor fellow employees, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective/preventive actions.

Position Responsibilities
  • Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
  • Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements or government regulations.
  • Applies knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
  • Trains and mentors fellow employees in the Quality Management System.
  • Performs root cause analysis on the nonconformance to identify the cause and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Independently develops, modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective/preventive action and documents resolution.
  • Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware/processes.
  • Negotiates concurrence, obtains commitments for taking preventive and corrective action, prioritizes quality activities and ensures problem resolution.
  • Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and identifies effectivity to ensure completion.
  • Reviews and approves Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
  • Guides validation of configuration management, quality procedures and material review policies to deliver the software products.
  • Develops software system processes to support changing industry standards.
  • Reviews and implements corrective action on audit results to ensure media is stored and handled per engineering defined requirements.
  • Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation.
  • Creates analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution.
  • Works under general direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience)
  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a role that required you to analyze and summarize raw data from various sources, and recommend executable action plans
  • 3+ years of experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets)
  • Willing and able to work 2nd shift
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience working with Velocity and other 787 production applications
  • Experience working with CMES
  • Experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment
  • 3+ years of experience creating, improving, and analyzing metrics and data.
  • 1+ years of Boeing 787 Program Experience
  • 3+ years of experience working on MRB (Materials Review Board) activities
  • Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
