Job summary

Maverick Power in Texas is seeking a seasoned Quality leader to drive process quality across manufacturing operations. You will lead daily quality activities, mentor staff, and partner with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to maintain high standards.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, countermeasures, and data-driven improvement. You will develop QC Supervisors, manage KPI tracking, and ensure changes are documented and sustained in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5+ years in manufacturing quality.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, root cause problem solving, and work instructions.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily quality management activities, including quality confirmation, containment, and escalation of abnormalities.
• Drive structured problem solving and root cause analysis; coach teams to implement countermeasures that address root cause and verify effectiveness.
• Standardize and sustain quality processes by auditing work instructions, maintaining quality standards, and implementing control plans and error-proofing.
• Ensure all process changes are properly documented, communicated, and sustained over time.
• Support supplier and incoming quality efforts by participating in supplier corrective actions and improving incoming inspection processes.
• Partner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Engineering, and Production to align on quality standards and communication across teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality team by strengthening problem-solving capability and fostering a culture of early issue surfacing.
• Track, analyze, and improve quality KPIs; communicate performance to leadership using visual management.
• Develop and mentor QC Supervisors to ensure processes are highly specified and continuous improvement occurs at the lowest level.
• Ensure QC Supervisors train Team Leaders in standardized work and guided experimentation principles.
