MPI is seeking a Quality Process Engineer to enhance integrity, visibility, and effectiveness of quality and operational data across a manufacturing organization. You will analyze trends, strengthen reporting systems, support quality initiatives, and help establish best practices that improve decision-making and process performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years in Quality or Process Engineering in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with NCRs, scrap, rework, CAPAs, audits, and quality reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across departments and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze quality and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate nonconforming products, scrap, rework, turnbacks, customer returns, and other quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, reports, and metrics used throughout the organization.
  • Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, consistency, and visibility across manufacturing operations.
  • Support audits, CAPAs, compliance initiatives, process documentation, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish best practices, improve decision-making, train users, and strengthen quality systems.

Profile

A successful Quality Process Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Data Analytics, Business Systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Five or more years of experience in Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Systems, or a related manufacturing function.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment supporting quality systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of NCRs, scrap, rework, customer returns, CAPAs, audits, or quality reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience creating reports, dashboards, metrics, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and levels of leadership.

  • Competitive base salary of $130,000-$150,000 plus annual bonus.
