Job summary

MPI is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations in a high-tech semiconductor environment, partnering with engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers to improve process performance and product quality. The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s in engineering or related field, with at least 3 years in quality engineering or semiconductor manufacturing, strong analytical and communication skills, and U.S.

Person status for regulatory compliance.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or a similar technical environment.
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and devices.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • U.S. Person status required due to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary quality representative supporting manufacturing and foundry operations.
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to improve process capability, yield, and product quality.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve manufacturing and customer quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality and performance standards.
  • Support process changes, validations, and quality reviews across manufacturing operations.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and process metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain quality reporting tools, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
  • Participate in internal audits and quality system improvement projects.
  • Provide quality guidance and risk assessments to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Champion quality engineering best practices across the organization.
