Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, process control, and continuous improvement in a semiconductor fabrication environment. The role partners with operations and engineering to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive product and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4–8 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or quality/process engineering, using 8D, Six Sigma, and FMEA.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
  • 4-8 years of experience within semiconductor manufacturing, quality engineering, process engineering, or a similar technical environment.
  • Strong root cause analysis experience utilizing methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, FMEA, or related quality tools.
  • Hands-on manufacturing floor experience working closely with engineering and operations teams.
  • Experience leveraging statistical tools and data-driven problem solving to improve quality and process performance.
  • Semiconductor, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or similar high-tech industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary quality representative supporting semiconductor foundry manufacturing operations.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing, process, supplier, and customer quality issues.
  • Partner with Operations, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to improve yield, process capability, and product quality.
  • Utilize SPC, statistical analysis, and quality methodologies to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Review manufacturing controls, process changes, and quality systems to ensure compliance and process effectiveness.
  • Develop quality metrics, reporting tools, and best practices that strengthen overall quality performance across the organization.

A successful Quality Engineer should have:
