Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking a QA Lab VD Team member to analyze external evaluation results, verify firmware behavior, and support technical communication between HQ/SEA and reviewers. The role requires hands-on product verification, issue reproduction, and clear reporting.

Responsibilities include coordinating with HQ R&D/PQ, preparing review agendas, and tracking post‑meeting actions while collaborating with QA Lab and PR teams to ensure accurate evaluation outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, Display Technology, or equivalent.
• Technical understanding of TV, Display, Monitor, Video or Consumer Electronics products.
• Ability to read and analyze product specs, test results, and firmware behavior.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Clear technical reporting in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to explain complex content to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordination and project management to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze evaluation results and RTINGS data; reproduce issues in QA Lab and coordinate with HQ R&D/PQ.
• Support RTINGS communications; prepare agendas, track issues, and manage post-meeting actions.
• Perform pre‑shipment technical verification of media samples and assist reviewers.
• Manage review samples, firmware/version checks, and product setting verification.
• Monitor external evaluation trends to identify recurring issues and share insights internally.
• Collaborate with QA Lab, HQ R&D/PQ, and SEA PR; communicate findings to engineers and management.
