Job summary

Drug Plastics & Glass Company Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Packer/Inspector for our Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. You will prepare cartons, label as required, and inspect bottles to ensure they meet quality standards.

You will record production data, communicate issues to the next shift, and maintain clean, organized work areas while following GMP guidelines and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for common calculations.
• Clear written and spoken communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret product specs.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Vision correctable to 20/20 and color/shade discernment.
• Hearing sufficient to understand instructions in a factory.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtain empty cartons from conveyors or other sources.
• Prepare cartons for stack or tumble packed products and position as needed.
• Apply carton labels per policy and inspect bottles per PQS.
• Remove full cartons and close them according to procedures.
• Grind scrap bottles and inspect for rework eligibility.
• Maintain cleanliness around equipment and work areas.
• Record daily production reports for supervisor review.
• Notify mechanics or supervisor of any equipment issues.
