Job summary

Drug Plastics Group in Boyertown, PA is seeking a Packer Inspector to pack finished bottles into cartons and ensure quality standards are met. This hourly position offers 2nd and 3rd shift opportunities in a clean, temperature-controlled plant.

Role emphasizes safety, accurate packing, and adherence to PQS guidelines. Training is provided; long-term career growth and benefits are available with the team.

Qualifications

• Good mathematical skills for basic calculations.
• Ability to read effectively to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Vision correctable to 20-20 and color/shade identification.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines, GMPs and company policies.
• Prepare cartons for stack-packed or tumble-packed products.
• Apply carton labels as defined.
• Inspect bottles per PQS and customer specifications.
• Remove full cartons and close cartons per procedures.
• Grind scrap and rejected bottles.
• Complete and provide daily production reports to supervisor.
• Notify mechanics or supervisor of any quality or equipment issues.
